Thanks to its specialized manufacturing technology, the T-83 manages water flow and contact time to bring out a fuller body and sweeter notes from your coffee.
Through a unique production process, the paper features a low-profile, double-sided crêpe. This effectively filters out fines while preventing the filter from clogging.
The filter is designed to allow a fast flow during the initial phase but naturally slows down during the second half of the extraction. This “braking” effect allows the water to interact with the coffee grounds longer toward the end, unlocking maximum sweetness and a richer body.
We often use the Cafec T-83 for washed coffees that might be lacking in mouthfeel; the result is a “rounder” cup that still maintains a beautiful clarity.
